Participantcheers we saw plenty of big fish there tail swishing etc. Alex caught his on a vibrax mepps type spinner (black fury) style . The Rakaia has plenty of fish you just got to have a go.We had it for dinner fed 5 of us fried lighty in olive oil excellent!!!

ParticipantCheers guys, yeah fergie I seen you over there but as I have my cam zoomed out to the max things appear further away than they really are. Great day down there but that was the only fish I encountered sadly.

ParticipantNo baitman there was zero in it’s guts which seems to be the norm during winter, I guess they are waiting for the smelt run to start in late august!!
