    Heard of a few getting taking from the Surf near the Clarence a few weeks back… Do not know any details.

    At long last a big fresh on the rakaia..this will clean out the didymo and hopefully punch a new mouth out through the spit, may well see the first salmon taken in the surf or when it clears..bring it!!

    didnt go out last weekend river far to dirty been out half doz times so far this seson no luck part from a few sea runners once this mak clears ill spend a bit of time down there

    I heard of quite a few salmon taken at the rakaia yesterday perhaps 10-11 can anybody confirm?

    Hooked and lost a salmon this morning. Had it on for about 5mins.
    Looked in great condition about 12lbs. :cry:
