Hi anyone herd how waitaki is fishing any salmon showed up yet thinking of going down this month used to fire up in march years ago cheers.

fished mackys tonight saw one fish rise nothing caught herd 3 landed in morning tide.not many people out fishing .

fished up at motorbike track area tonight 2hrs hooked a trout no salmon seen.

the mac is a great colour and fish are on the move none for me today fished around motorbike track will have a crack tomorrow

tide would affect your range i have seen people fish it their the bottom is very soft on the point in places i fished it two weekends ago

hi the hole was down past mouth most boats were anchored over top of it not the best way to fish it . might go to fish mouth anything seen today is water looking good for the morning.

hi does anyone know what has been caught at mac mouth last 2 days going to fish it tomorrow morning is south side still good to fish on outgoing tide.

when i was salmon fishing in Rakaia i think i was 14 or 15 i was up to my knees barefoot with a nasty cut on my ankle,felt something nibbling at my cut, looked down eel 2 foot long.Dad said he had never seen me move so fast.
