spent the weekend at baileys took the truck out on the beach had some fun dodging bottles and shit filled a bag with other peoples shit. anyway fishing was slow as with a hard undertow gota couple eles and a rig tho so wasnt to bad got heaps of the smallest cod ever on the pipis and caught a skate by the tail that was hard work.

cheers shark slayer was nice to be rewarded after not getting one last year. i tried so hard and kept getting rig ,one day took a couple of beginners out
and they got 2 each. murphys law tho aye .oh well on the board now like to land a big cow this year and put her back.

amberley last night for a change pleasantly surprised with an ele and a couple rig had anther couple of takes that i lost too so it was a good one.

went to kaikoura lastweekend had a look up the hill but only seen goats so hit the beach for a fish .gota couple of moki in a rough muddy sea .the missus got a nice 580 ,getn sick to death of her out fishn me haha .

fish the beach with sum salmon as bait greyboys love it. carpets aren’t fun red cod bite and fight harder

has anyone fished magnet bay when calm with any luck I tried tumbldown bay last weekend but just got wrasse and cod

we took bikes out to bayleys Friday nite went down further heaps of greyboys only one worth filleting, three eles round 8 pound,a kahawhai and my mate got his first seven giller only bout 25 pound but dragged him down the beach a wee way,whats happened to the doggies that used to plague the beaches we didnt get one .not that im complaining

went coopers lagoon tonight bloody turned southerly early blanked. the dick next to us with the contiki got a couple of eles way out on the last hooks then let his kid stab up all the sand sharks and doggies left them,their beer cans bait bags and f*#ked off,top work

started fishin for the season last week plenty of rig around gota couple at motunau last week and one at the hill at amberly tonight.
quite a few havnt hooked up, the 10lb one tonight gave a real scrapy fight thort it would go at least twenty till I seen it.

conways generaly better for the ellys round easter there milliwolf . wana hit baileys first in early December then slowly head north .baits need to change for different areas too for best results
