Plenty of Salmon around 3-5lb at the canals today, Saw some guy who had a big one about 15lb.

Tekapo. Was really good there for a while but now they have stopped the flow as they are going to drain it soon.

Where did you fish? we fished by the farm but had no luck so went down by the stilling pond by the spill gates and was getting hits almost every cast. Seems like Ohau B or C will be the best option now Tekapo is being drained and Ohau A is fished out.

Fished the Tekapo canal today, First used softbaits with no luck so switched to shrimp and got a dark coloured Salmon around 7lb which was released then two nice fat silver ones around 3-4lb each.

went to Ohau C today, Started with softbaits but no action so switched to shrimp and started hooking fish, got this 2 lber which was gut hooked so had to be kept then this 9lber plus released a handful of smaller ones around 3lb.
