    Put the hook in through the bottom or top jaw, but be careful not to put it through the gills, and don’t be too rough when casting.

    I have never fished the canals and would like to know .How do you get to the canals? Are they easy to find? Best access points etc. Thanks

    Just got back from the canals. I caught a few salmon one which weighed 17 pounds and I also got a nice bow of 13 pounds

    Is this a good time of year to fish the Oahu Canal or doesn’t it matter. The Tekapo Canal always seems milky blue. What is it like for fishing? Planning on heading down for a few days to do some fishing and filming. I’d be keen to meet up with any “experts” who fish the canals.
