ParticipantDecided to spread out my bulk tackle box, that is where I kept some of the fishing gear which I do not plan to use in the short term. Quite a bit is several years old, new stuff is added to it quite frequently and other stuff is transfered into other tackle boxes which would be taken fishing. The bulk of my spare trout spinners, lures and flies are kept elsewhere so are not in this photo.
Would likely be several years before I get through most of the soft plastics there.
How bad is your TAS problem.

Participantit is a problem accumulating gear. my partner said to me that when i died she was going to put all my z spinners in my coffin and push it out to sea so that it would sink, i said she would be better selling them as it would probably pay for the funeral. have just been reorganising the fishing room, finding a lot of stuff i can’t remember buying and didn’t know i had !!!!!

ParticipantRemembered I hid a few lures away in a set of draws a few years back, just remember them today. So had a look to see if they were still there, was expecting jigs mostly. This is what I found.
Based on the clearance sticker I assume they were from the warehouse, but doubt I would have paid that for each of them. Probably got them during one of their 40%+ off sales, love when they discount the clearance price even further.

ParticipantI’ve got a bit of a collection but still building my stocks back up since most my tackle got stolen. Had various tackle and gear built up from years of fishing in my fishing bag, along with about $300 of various tackle I purchased with vouchers won at the birdlings flat competition, all of that gone really pissed me off. Luckily it was only terminal tackle taken not rods and reels. I try to buy a lot of stuff in bulk (lumo tube/beads, bait cotton, hooks, swivels etc etc).

ParticipantI had a tackle bag stolen a couple of years back, quite annoying but the bag was probably more valuable then the contents. Luckily insurance paid out for most of it. I also buy in bulk, but I normally only put a small amount into my tackle bag and keep the rest stored somewhere safer.
In saying that, I am running quite low on surfcasting tackle. Probably time for a restock.
