reel size.

    Just got a Qauntium xtralite 6.6ft 1-3kg rod for trout fishing.

    Looking at getting one of these http://www.torpedo7.co.nz/products/0ORE … ng-reel-fd to match the rod but not sure what size, Would the 1000 or 2500 be better suited??

    I suspect both would be okay, I probably would go for the 2500 because thats the size of my trout shimano.

    have just ordered the 2500. Was a bit concerned about the line capacity of the 1000.

    I see they have put the price of that reel up $10, Good thing I ordered mine yesterday.
