Hi All,

as you know im a Novice when it comes to fishing

These 2 Lures came in my tackle box starter set.

What type are they?

What fish are they for?

the silver one is lead.

Type is probably impossible to tell from the photo alone…

But the silver one looks like a generic jig style, although they can also be casted and retrieved. The other is more of a minnow style which is best fished by casting out and retrieving. The silver one should be good on Kahawai, try around river mouths. The other would also work on Kahawai but would be harder to cast long distances, would probably be decent on trout.

If you chase kahawai put a single hook on the silver one
