Getting sick of all this bad weather around the canterbury region! haven’t been out for a cast for a couple of weeks now, weekends have been bad due to rain dirtying up the seas and horrible offshore winds bringing in choppy seas and big swells especially around birdlings. So what’s everyone else been doing to get a fix? I’ve just been sitting in my possie at kaiapoi catching mullet to get a fishing fix, at least now i have a good stock for when i can make it out next.

The weather has been quite good for fishing up in Marlb

Sometimes when it’s too rough to fish at the beaches, fishing off a wharf or the Pier is good. I was planning on going up to the Pier tonight if it’s not raining. Not sure what the weather’s going to do though. But when it’s a bit colder and with a bit of wind you’ll find less people will be out there fishing.

Weather is alright here at the moment, not cold as far as i’m concerned and overcast.
