Waimakariri web cams

    Hi,

    I believe there used to be 2 web cams on the Mak? Are these still available to the public and if so where can I find them?

    The NIWA Waimakariri River webcams were here: http://www.niwa.cri.nz/services/cam-era … atestimage
    But they don’t seem to be working any more. :)

    NIWA doesn’t seem to be maintaining their Cams very well. I used to have a quick look at the Ashburton Cam, although it’s hard to judge the overall conditions and wave height etc, but it hasn’t been working since the start of December. There was an Ashburton A & B cam, but seems neither are working now.
