I just returned from another fishing trip to Twizel.

The weather was a little on the patchy side, Saturday morning was calm if a little bit foggy, this was by far the best time though with us catching 12 fish in a couple of hours ([i:3m300b9c]4 people fishing[/i:3m300b9c]).

The size was nothing exceptional ([i:3m300b9c]the best was around 3lbs[/i:3m300b9c]) but the fish were in great condition. All the fish were browns with the exception of one which was a landlocked salmon.

I’m looking forward to getting back up there in a couple of weeks as things are settling down nicely after the Christmas madhouse and I expect the trout will be in even better condition as the summer advances ([i:3m300b9c]if we get some summer that is[/i:3m300b9c]) [i:3m300b9c]:?[/i:3m300b9c]
