Unsure if this has happened to anyone else but seems to be a few problems with the forum lately, even I couldn’t login the other day, and other members have tryied to login and they are advised they are also banned.

If you have had problems could you post them in here,

Thought he had only banned ip address not individuals??

Think he said he tried banning ip ranges of the bots which could affect normal users but I don’t know. Banning bots by IP is useless as they just cycle through a list of proxies which means a different IP every time they sign up.

really didn’t have much choice as i can only ban ip’s and names and banning names is utterly pointless, most of the spam is coming from the same ip so i thought bugger it and i banned the entire range of the spammers ip from the other day but that caught out a few innocent ones.

I checked your IP Sam and it’s not in the ban list and neither is your name so not sure what is happening.
