I have had very little, my understanding is that you troll a fly on a fly rod, at least thats what I think….

I was on a dingy and we just let out a about 20-30 metres floating fly line, then trolled it, we only ever got 1 small half pound fish on and lost it, it was hardly successful especialy compared to trolling lures from a dingy on a spin rod, which is successful no matter what the weather, sunny and calm is best but all weather is fine.
