Fishing From New Brighton Pier To Be Restricted

    Looks like they are going to be restricting fishing at New Brighton Pier. Hopefully fishing at night will still be aloud. And if it dosn’t work out then there will be a total ban of fishing when they review it in 12 months time

    Also did anyone see the new lights on the Pier? They have installed LED lights along the underside of the pier on the pillars in Red, Green, and blue.

    I have to wonder if stupid behaviour has contributed to this – e.g. occasionally there are some pretty foul-mouthed

    i would say it is because of stupid people the pier

    Unless they plan on using the dog fish they should have their head slammed against the pier and posts until they are close to death before being thrown off it.

    The fishery is already in a terrible state and any meaningless killing of fish is completely stupid and unjustifiable. Such people should never be allowed to fish again.
