    Right we are planning a trip there next week with the boat. problem is not been before , so where to in the boat. Have the x mark spot book but does not really say much.

    We have heard of going 17kms out but what direction.

    Anyone got any spots they want to pass on. cheers

    out of the heads, turn north, and keep going untill you see a big structure comming out of the water, its called pompys piller, might be worth a look this time of year

    choose your day to go out 17kms from the heads…. happy hunting

    Out of the heads turn left and head to hickory bay, fishing the cliffs just before you get to hickory can yield good Blue cod but only if the water is clean. If you sit in one place and burley up Trumpeter are also very possible. Great diving spot as well, plenty of crays and moki around which makes for a good dive
