If you end up in the outer pelorus looking for decent cod try drifting along the inside line of the mussel farms.not inside the lines but between the shore and the first line.

Around Beatrix area the shore pretty much drops straight off and the farms are close in.You’d be suprised just how good the cod fishing is closer to the shore.Deeper is not always better….unless you’re looking for
