Not too sure on total numbers but I think 9 or so were weighed at Mackies. From what I heard there were better numbers at the mouth.
Whitebait Season starts 1 September 2026 and ends 30 October (inclusive). Chatham Islands: 1 December to the last day of February (inclusive)
