Timfish: I was on [b:3s6si9ry]zero[/b:3s6si9ry] (except for a land locked Lake Coleridge salmon of about 1kg and a Marlborough Sounds farm escapee of about 1.5kg) for over 25 years! Not all years fished, but in total, well over 200 trips to the Waimak (mainly the mouth, but some upstream) and a few to the Rakaia and other rivers. The drought ended Saturday week ago when I got a 5kg fish from the Rakaia mouth, and then on Saturday just gone, got my limit bag in a couple of hours at the Rakaia mouth. 25+ years = zero, less than 1 week = 3 fish!
