Fished just past birdlings this morning from 6am with crabs and prawns ,stayed until 11am and not even a nibble , trawler came past just before we left. There was a couple of doggies and a dead carpet shark lying on beach from night before.

I was down bayleys too this morning , but all I got was a large paddle crab and sore eyes from looking for my keys for a couple of hours!Still didnt find them , had to break into it ( lucky the ignition is so sloppy you can start it with a screw driver.) thanks for the help looking for them birdlings and the two other guys out there.
Went for a spearfish at wainui today, got 2 large moki and 1 butterfish, missed another 3 of each so must have got rusty over winter. Vis was shit as usual. Would be worth rock fishing for the moki off the end of the island as there were plenty around.
