I’m going to be based in Blenhiem from Boxing Day till the 2nd so will be heading out from there on a few fishing missions going to do French Pass, Titirangi, Kenepuru and try off Karaka Point.
Them snapper are definately starting to run hoping to be back up before the holiday madness. This time I was the lucky one to pull two decent pannies vip_yo had one and my brother went out for a duck hahaha. Always come back with a story to tell. Good times, awesome scenery, great mates and good fishing absolute magic.

Yes there will be many more trips to come in the warmer months. This round is mainly to grab a few cod before the ban comes in any Snapper caught will be a major bonus. Don’t mean to hijack the thread but thought that this question is similar. When top loading braid to nylon backing do you use the same knots as the braid to leader attachment? e.g. bimini twist to Yucatan to join the nylon to the braid?
