every fish took me into the backing at least 10m exept the 4.5 pounder as I caught it in a small stream
the 3.5 pounder took me a least 30m into my backing

I just bought an 8wt fly rod to use off my kayak i want to target kahawai even trumpeter around the southern bays will give a good fight.
