This competition will run from Jan 1st (meaning the comp has allready started!) and end on the 31st Dec 2007. All entries must be PM’d to me up to midnight on the 31st Dec 2007. You can post all your entries in this thread to.

If you’ve caught any mullet allready (after Jan 1st 2007) and happen to of weighed them and taken a photograph then you can enter!

If you happen to catch some big grey mullet etc then it is allowed to enter as this is a “mullet” championships. Most or all I suspect will be yellow eyed mullet however as grey mullet don’t travel this far south usually. Mullet condition and it’s length etc isn’t a factor, the prize will be given for the [b:nm8d3uh7]heaviest[/b:nm8d3uh7] mullet.

A good idea for your photograph would be to try and show some scale as to how big it is by putting a ruler next to it or something etc. And, if you can try to take the photo in a way that shows the location you caught it at like this e.g. here:

Salmon caught at Timaru Harbour. (obviously you can post a bigger picture)

The prize is a trophy! And the honour of catching the biggest mullet! :D

    Cheers

    Aaron

P.S. And even though I’m running this I deem I can enter to! LOL.

Well, try to get a photo of where you caught it in the pic etc but no worries if you take the mullet home then take a photo and weigh it, the most important thing being a ruler next to it or something showing scale.
