ParticipantDoes not seem to be much interest. But I would still probably head down there around New Years day. Maybe even on New Years eve.
Probably would spend most of the time drunk. Should stock up on gatorade before heading down there so I do not waste any time with hangovers.

ParticipantIm busy over that period. I fwill be fishing Kaikoura boxing day, then ive got 8 days in marlbourgh sounds. Bought an 12ft fiberglass boat last week. So will be busy over the next month getting that up to speed.
So probably wont get away on a trip anytime soon!

ParticipantMy kayak is longer then your boat. Should be good for fishing around the inner sounds and other sheltered waters.

ParticipantI would be there new years eve, new years day and maybe the day after new years.
So that might be the 31, 1st and 2nd. Have no plans for on the 5/6 at this stage. So might also be down there then.
I got a bunch of mussels out fishing today, hopefully would get onto a few large Mokis. But I probably would be to drunk to care about fish at night.
So I must also remember to bring Gatorade to counter any potential hangovers.
