I have the 1st (tues) and 2nd (wednesday) and the weekend (5th and 6th) off during that period. So really only the stationary holidays and the weekend.20/12/2007 at 9:37 pm #9560
Does not seem to be much interest. But I would still probably head down there around New Years day. Maybe even on New Years eve.
Probably would spend most of the time drunk. Should stock up on gatorade before heading down there so I do not waste any time with hangovers.21/12/2007 at 1:33 pm #9562
Im busy over that period. I fwill be fishing Kaikoura boxing day, then ive got 8 days in marlbourgh sounds. Bought an 12ft fiberglass boat last week. So will be busy over the next month getting that up to speed.
So probably wont get away on a trip anytime soon!21/12/2007 at 3:21 pm #9563
My kayak is longer then your boat. Should be good for fishing around the inner sounds and other sheltered waters.22/12/2007 at 3:55 pm #9572

at this stage im heading to kaikoura on the 5/6th just for the night at memory high tide is about 2ish i think then ull be home for 3 days and then heading back again on the 9th comming back on the 12th29/12/2007 at 10:50 pm #9617
I would be there new years eve, new years day and maybe the day after new years.
So that might be the 31, 1st and 2nd. Have no plans for on the 5/6 at this stage. So might also be down there then.
I got a bunch of mussels out fishing today, hopefully would get onto a few large Mokis. But I probably would be to drunk to care about fish at night.
So I must also remember to bring Gatorade to counter any potential hangovers.30/12/2007 at 2:35 am #9620
