Spring Creek trout

    Fished a certain Spring creek near Blenheim. The wind was blowing and it was hot, but the trout were feeding. Landed a 2.3kg brown on my second cast but could not tempt the rest. I suspect I was not presenting the nympth deep enough.

    yo Mili, Not so long ago I spyed about 3 goodsize browns in that creek all together.If its the same creek that you are talkin about then they were behind the foursquare…the only foursquare on that creek.

    Never checked that section, but there is good size fish along the entire length.

    Yeah nah I dont normally look for trout,infact I cant even remember why I was standing behind the shop lookin at the creek.It was just a suprise to see 3 good trout all within a 10metre stretch.
