Thinking back , last year I got out maybe 25 times and had maybe 1 runin with a 7
The year before , 1 again …..
The years before that were similar ….
This year , Ive been plauged by them ….and it seems not to matter where I head for a fish …..chomp chomp or fullon hookup …
5 of 9 trips out …
Anyone else been finding this ? or is it just pure coincidence12/12/2009 at 7:41 pm #14273HookLineSinkerParticipant
Maybe that your improving your bait selection or places your fishing as yet this season (spring/summer) i havent chance upon any yet. Although mili has cuaght a few more than usual, in areas that havent really produced before. There is some areas up here in marlborough that produce sevens prettyy regularly provided you through the right bait in the water.13/12/2009 at 1:28 am #14280MiliwolfParticipant
You probably have to go fishing to catch them HLS.
I been getting onto a lot of them. Gotten them on my last 4 trips out (and only 1 of the trips was to the sevengiller beach). They are very common in the Sounds this year, last year I did not get one in the Sounds.13/12/2009 at 2:52 am #14283fishforpotParticipant
