    have been informed the days tally was 14. will be there at first light tomorrow.

    Was at the white post Saturday morning, was knee deep in mud before I could reach the waters edge at low tide, mud/silt was level with the decking on which that seat is situated due to that last big fresh we had.

    Had a look just up from the Waimak bridge this morning in a nice stretch of water. Didn’t see any fish but they won’t be too far away if they are at Mackies.

    kris- depends where you walk- hard along mak side, soft in patches right at the point. 3 this mornig till 10.30am.

    Fished Kaiapoi sth side from bout 7.30 til 9.30, saw one porpoise… Pretty quiet.

    Don’t forget the one the guy on the other side dragged his wobbler over subjohn, it was only on for a few seconds a chucked the hook the first time it jumped.
