ParticipantMy much loved, much used Shimano 5010 baitrunner Aero GT seems to have died a death, so i want something to replace it. Must have the ‘baitrunner’ feature and about the same weight or a little lighter.
Suggestions ASAP please as I need to get something sorted.
Thanks
Andy

ParticipantMaybe the Shimano BTR-4500B (or any in the series depending on desired size). Shimano makes the best baitrun reels.

ParticipantSeveral online retailers have them, but most good tackle stores have stock.
Here are three good online options (Price is for 4500 size).
Trademe Fishabell

ParticipantGot a Tica SR3507R from the local store, will see how it goes and see about getting the other reel repaired.
Seems like a decent reel, might be a bit small, but I can always buy a bigger one
