Hi Guys. I havnt posted here for a while but have been keeping an eye on what tales you are all telling.

As most of you would know I have been active with the council over the last couple of years along with Danny (Booger) over getting the fishing reinstated at the pier after the council in their wisdom banned it. We were obviously successful with this, and since the ban was lifted I have been involved in a Pier liasion commitee which is focused on keeping the pier availiable for fishing along with many other related activities. At the moment we are working on a kids fishing day on the pier which is scheduled for October 31 (Saturday) for two hours from 1.00pm to 3.00 pm for kids up to 16 years old. The council has granted funding for this to go ahead but to make this successful the commitee has asked if we could have as many fishermen (persons for the PC ) to come down and help out with tips, line baiting, techniques, cooking etc. If any of you guys are prepared to give up a couple of hours out of your day your help to make this event work would be much appreciated. Should any of you like to be involved please send me a PM with your contact details so I can get in touch with you to get things organised. We are having another meeting in about 2 weeks where all those involved will get together to arrange the day.

Sorry guys got an event on in Kaikoura with kayak club hope it is a successful day and becomes annually big thumbs up!!!
