ParticipantI agree with you mulletman,surely after having caught so many big fish the need to kill them and hang them in your “show off” room would have diminished.A trophy fish is a fish that you rarely catch and that is prized for that reason.Seriously,Tekapo trout are not really trophy fish in my view,more like farmed fish..but that’s just my view.To be honest,I’d be a tad embarrassed to bring people through that room,it’s just way too much,too many big fish killed for bragging reasons…

Participantagreed to catch a big fish like that is great to catch so many is a bit like herring fishing so many is no fun but must says would love to catch one of those big fish if i did chase them but i dont so wont

Participanti can understand keeping a coulple of fish, but have that many big fish would of had a impact of somesort on the rivers he caught them in
