Lumo Tape on Salmon Lures

    How many are using lumo paint or tape on salmon lures?I have noticed a few anglers casting lumo lures at dawn.Whats the success rate compaired to STD lures?

    they do catch fish.

    yes they cath fish but what has been noticeable is that when the water lights up like the yanks over baghdad it destroys the change of light fishing with standard gear as it seems to spook the fish,

    been an interesting discussion at the latest north Canterbury f&g council about the use of lumo gear and night fishing for salmon and what to do about it. their conclusion was there is nothing they can do as any regulation would be to hard and expensive to police.
