Just gotten back from the grove arm. Tide was out going, low tide at Picton was 9:30pm.
Fished from 7:30 – 9:30pm. Used mullet, pilchard and crab for bait.
Caught what I assume was a trevally. It took pilchard. Released.
Sea was calm, wind was from the E.
*is there a typo on the grove arm mfish display?, I am certain it says the size limit for Trevally is 100cm (which is crazy) when in reality it is 25cm.19/02/2009 at 2:51 am #12544HookLineSinkerParticipant
Yip thats a typo alright 25cm is the legal limit which is quite a small fish, hell a 100cm fish that would be a trophy19/02/2009 at 4:20 am #12545

Weather isn’t looking too good for this weekend, and I’m pretty sure the sea will be pretty rough, although I haven’t checked the swell charts. I was planning on going to the Pier maybe, but not if it’s going to be raining and rough with lots of seaweed around.20/02/2009 at 4:21 am #12557
500cm now thats a massive rig 5m long sure it wasnt a great white?20/02/2009 at 4:41 am #12558MalParticipant
