    What sort of shark was the winner? Tope or Seven Giller?

    Did not go to the prize giving, I guess it would of been a tope. But did not see it. Hopefully someone knows the exact winners.

    Winning fish was a 13.5kg seven giller 2nd was a conger and 3rd was a rig

    I did not attend the price giving and continued fishing instead.

    pretty good they went up to like 30th i think i got like 13th 17th and 18th, for that i got wine tour and tastin at kaikoura winery +bottle of wine, $30 meat voucher and $30 at the hardware shop lol really want to get in the top 3 tho :) caught the first fish as well

    other years ive got $60 donegal house voucher, fishing mag subscription, some fancy hair dressing voucher, tackle box n some other stuff mayb cant remember :P

    Probably should of entered the 2-3 fish I caught last time. Might fish it again.

    yeah they were only like 20 or so fish wieghed in people won prizes with crabs lol i got a cod and some small schoolies to get my prizes last year

    damn, I now wonder what my small KY and modest wrasse would of gotten.

    I wonder if the fishing was so bad that only 20 fish were caught or if there were others like me who released the smaller ones. Once I saw a couple of decent size fished caught I thought it would of been a waste of time to keep anything smaller.

    Between the whalewatch Helipad and the Sawmill if I remember correctly.

    To register you have to turn left off beach road at Henrys liqour store and head to end of the street.

    Ok cheers for the info mili, i might hopefully get motivated and go down to fish it this year barring work commitments.
