identify fish

    Hi there,

    Could you help me to identify fish.

    got it in upper Waiau river 1.5 years ago in April.

    Weight is about 9 kg.

    I thought it was a brown trout, but now doubt. Maybe salmon?

    Salmon are blackish in the mouth,trout are whiteish in the mouth.
