How do you make a good batter?

    did try bourbon and coke, just as nice, good to try different stuff

    batter 1/4 corn flour to 3/4 selfraising flour water and whatever seasoning u want add water till the batter just coats the fish after it is floured oil to 180 /185c

    ie u dont want the batter too thick on the fish but covered

    Mix the flour oil, salt and beer together in a bowl. an the the beer should be added last and done slowly, stirring all the time. then refrigerate it for 20 mins.. its ready now.. :grin:
