Cray bodies make great burley, bloody hard to get a decent bait out of them though.

Hmm last ones I got from there had no legs. Have been using prawn as a fairly good substitute for cray/crab with great success for rig.

    Hi Wiz,
will have to stock up myself @ that price.
Main Reason is that iodised salt destroys most of the colour and shine of the anchovies. I have used iodised in the past but have found the results much better with the sea salt.
give it a go with the iodised and then next time try the sea salt.

    Tight lines!

those micers are great got one a few months back when the warewhare had them 40% off. I mince up all left overs from bat put it in a bucket with pellets oats and stale bread and add a bit of water and fish oil let the pellets etc swell up then freeze in offcuts of plastic down pipe.

Thats good to know mate im gonna have to start using more often.Another good thing about them is the are easy to get and they are free! I have a river at my back door and its full of eels ive been feeding up so I think ill just take 2 or 3 as I need them.I guess I sorta forgot about using them for bait but its good too know I have a big live-bait tank at my door step and can get a cuple 5 mins before I head to the beach.Bait dont come much fresher than that! ;)

So do you target sevengills or just whatever happens by?
