yes fished there today but didnt enter comp, lots of fish around and when the guys dived they saw a lot of tuna , didnt have any lures to have a go at them..

thinking of going to motunau island on sunday morning for a fish in my dingy have been there a few time with no luck the swell looks ok till about 9am then comes uo over 2mts so will be back on land about then have been out behind the island and tired up to craypots and got 2 blue cod best im done so does any one know roughly were i can get some have no gps or fish finder just dift around or tie to craypots

if u can find a couple of boats/or see a boat catching a few fish, go fish close to them, we have a gps/fish finder on our boat, so we can find the reefs very easly, thats were they mostly hang, there is also a few sandflats out there, we often drift over them and catch gurnard and somtimes rig, the big cod is there too somtimes
