It depends… to many variables and each river mouth is different. Low tide can be good because the fish are concentrated into a smaller area and the channels are more defined. During periods of higher flows the fish might only enter the river over high when the salt content is higher… I have experienced good and bad fishing over all tides in all conditions, fish are fish and they would be there when they want.
