Well I had my drag right off so there was no pressure needed to take off line, meaning whatever was on didn’t know it was hooked. Although there is still the weight of the sinker to pull around, and I’m surprised it didn’t end up swallowing the hook. I was getting loads of hits from the blue cod, but by the time I got my rod out of the holder and tightened the drag they were gone. It seems they like to twist or roll once hooked as a lot of times my traces were all twisted up after winding them in. Probably some swivel dropper things would work well with that.
