haven’t fished there for a number of years. what worked well then were black and gold glimmys tobys and small rapalas. at night when we caught a lot of fish and the bigger ones on red shadow lures, hamills killers work well during the day. nymphs that represent damsel fies should be good as have on many occasions watched fish jumping for the adults. can recall being broken off late one night by a large fish, never stood a chance hit like a rocket and never stopped. fishing at night up there when it is still and quite warm in november is a great experience, my kids still talk about those nights. mainly rainbows in there and fish n game has a restocking programme. in september you can see spawning trout along the shingle edges in the lagoon at the top end if there is enough water to fill it. can’t catch them only interested in one thing.
